Hi All..
This was my entry for the 2nd Gen competition hosted by The Foundry and William Vaughan on the Modo community. I won the Fan Favorite prize and also came runners up in the Judges Pick prize.
This was mostly created in Modo, using traditional modelling, subD, booleans, rounded edge shader, procedural texturing ( only a few bits were uv'd ) and lots and lots and lots of displacements, some of which i made custom height maps for in photoshop and i also found a useful little tool called Jsplacement which was really handy for generating random height patterns. All rendered in modo.
