MK18 – 40mm static grenade launcher

Some of my work on the Arma 3 Creator DLC S.O.G Prairie Fire by Savage Game Design.

The Mk18 Mod0 40mm grenade launcher is a hand-cranked experimental weapon used by U.S. forces in South Vietnam, which was also vehicle-mounted on the M113-A1 APC and STAB and PBR Mk2 patrol boats.

The models were made according to historical photos and descriptions.
I was responsible for all art areas, highpoly, lowpoly, uvs done in modo, texturing done in substance painter. Rendered in Marmoset.

As always this was a team effort, thanks to all those involved, with a big special mention to Apollo, our encoding genius.
